Science Communication Short Course

This online, three-month course is tailored for UF and UF Health scientists, researchers and science communicators. Do you want to become more effective in your communication with collaborators, media, funders, policymakers and the people who can benefit from work? You’ll learn science-based frameworks that will help you convey complex information to people outside of your field, address uncertainty, and respond to misinformation. We’ll provide you with tools to deliver presentations with confidence and build your influence in your field. The class meets every other week, online for three-hour sessions from February 8 – April 25, 2024. Taught by senior team members at UF’s Center for Public Interest Communications in the College of Journalism and Communications.

Applications are accepted until January 15, 2024. Sign up today. More info at https://leadership.hr.ufl.edu/programs/science-communications-short-course/
